Age UK Oxfordshire held a lunch event at The Cherwell Restaurant and Bistro at the end of June, at the Banbury Campus.
The lunch was organised by the charity as a social meet up for it's members, volunteers and users of Age UK Oxfordshire.
Livvy Griffen, a community network officer for Age UK Oxfordshire said: "Although today was open to everyone with connections to Age UK Oxfordshire. It is principally for a group we call "Late Spring", a friendship group for the over 60s in the Oxfordshire area.
"Our groups are important for it's members. Offering friendship, support and a safe place to discuss anything they want. Today is part of a schedule of events and outings that we plan for our group members."
The menu, at just £5pp, was designed, prepared, cooked and served by catering students from the college.
