Performing Arts students from Banbury and Bicester College performed their own adaptation of the ancient Greek poem, The Odyssey, at The Mill Arts Centre.
The production marked the end of the level 3 students’ two year course and was the focus of their final assessment. It also featured some level 2 Performing Arts students, who performed supporting roles. This granted them some more experience on stage and was great inspiration for their work next year.
The audience comprised of friends, family and ex-students and all thoroughly enjoyed the show. Sarah Methuen, Head of Performing Arts, said of the students: “I could not be more proud. They have been a dream to work with! The venue for their performance provided them with the experience of a professional theatre environment. This was a great opportunity and you could feel that the students were passionate and took great pride in performing.”
